Tight-Space Link: Right-Angle UHF (SO-239) Twist-On Jack for RG58 🔌📡📐
Navigate cramped installations with ease using the Connectivity Series. This Right-Angle (90°) UHF Twist-On Jack is specifically designed for RG58 coaxial cable. It is the definitive solution for amateur radio (Ham), mobile CB, and marine setups where space behind the equipment is limited, allowing for a secure connection without damaging your cable’s bend radius. ✨🚀
Why the Right-Angle Twist-On Jack is a Radio Essential:
-
✅ 90-Degree Profile: Eliminates cable strain in tight spaces, such as behind vehicle dashboards, inside narrow equipment racks, or against walls. 🚀
-
✅ Tool-Free Twist-On Design: No crimping tool or soldering iron required for the outer jacket connection. The internal threading grips the RG58 cable firmly as you twist it on. 💎
-
✅ Standard SO-239 Interface: Features the universal UHF female socket, compatible with all standard PL-259 male plugs. 🛡️
-
✅ High-Conductivity Contacts: Equipped with a precision-machined internal socket to ensure maximum signal transfer for HF and VHF frequencies. 📐
Where to Use It:
-
🚛 Mobile Radio Installs: Perfect for connecting antennas to CB or Ham radios mounted deep within a vehicle's center console or under-seat brackets.
-
📻 Desktop Base Stations: Manage your "cable spaghetti" by allowing antenna leads to drop straight down rather than protruding from the back of the radio.
-
🚢 Marine Electronics: Ideal for compact cockpits or cabin bulkheads where space for connectors and cables is at a premium.
-
📡 Antenna Patch Panels: Use in custom-built distribution boxes to keep cable routing organized and professional.

Top 3 Customer Questions & Concerns 🙋♂️
1. ⚠️ Does the "Twist-On" design hold up in a car? Yes. For standard mobile use, the mechanical grip of the threading is very secure. However, for extreme high-vibration off-road environments, we recommend a small piece of adhesive heat-shrink tubing over the junction for added peace of mind.
2. 🔥 Will this fit on my thicker RG8 or RG213 cable? No. This specific model is sized for the 5mm diameter of RG58. Attempting to force it onto a thicker cable will damage the internal threads.
3. 🔌 Is there a "Male" (PL-259) version of this? Yes! If you need to plug into a radio at an angle, you would need the Right-Angle UHF Male (PL-259). This "Jack" version is used to receive a cable plug at a 90-degree angle.
